決して交通の便が良いとは言えませんが、ここ三宅町は、私たちの代名詞である米ぬか繊維〈䋛 -mai-〉が生まれた場所。
その静かな町並みに、今日も編み機の心地よいリズムが響いています。

In spring, you’ll hear the song of little birds; in summer, the gentle croak of frogs.Tractors pass by now and then, in this peaceful countryside where our factory and store quietly stand.
Though not the easiest place to reach, Miyake Town is where our signature material, rice bran fiber “Mai”, was born.
Amid this calm scenery, the soft rhythm of knitting machines hums again today.

1958年創業の鈴木靴下では、毎日、職人たちの手によって、一つ一つていねいに靴下が編まれています。
オープンファクトリーでは、そんなものづくりの現場を間近で感じていただける特別な時間をご用意しました。
約2時間の体験の中で、靴下が生まれる工程や米ぬかソックスの開発秘話など、“見て・聴いて・感じる”体験をお楽しみいただけます。

Since its founding in 1958, every pair of socks at Suzuki Socks has been carefully knitted by the hands of skilled artisans.
During our Open Factory event, you’ll have a rare opportunity to step inside the workshop and feel the spirit of craftsmanship up close.
Over the course of two hours, you can see how socks are born, hear the story behind our rice bran fiber socks, and experience the process with all your senses — to see, to listen, and to feel.
