Using scraps of socks and yarn tubes (tubes that yarn used to be wound around), we will make “Christmas ornaments” 🎅

The power of rice bran” that only a farmer could know, now for you ✨.
The story of how the large amount of rice bran discharged when rice is milled takes on new value.
It was born from long years and countless challenges.

Rice bran has been used in public baths since the Edo period as an ancient Japanese beauty item to moisturize and improve skin texture, and was even used as a rope for yokozuna (grand champion) ring-entering.
Rice bran fiber, made by kneading the ingredients extracted from rice bran into rayon fiber, retains moisture and feels moist and smooth to the touch.
It is an earth-friendly, environment-friendly, future-friendly, and people-friendly material.

奈良芸術短期大学の学生さんに来社いただきました✨

本日、三宅町と連携協定を結んでいる奈良芸術短期大学の学生さんに来社いただきました。
本社での工場見学や、本店ショップ2Fシアタールームで鈴木靴下公式movie『靴下づくりの裏側や開発ストーリー』もご覧いただき、ゆったりと滞在いただきました✨

靴下づくりの際、どうしても出てしまう廃材”靴下の輪っか”をたくさんもらっていただき、喜んでいただきました🧦
奈良芸の学生さんの発想でまた何か新しいデザインに生まれ変わらせてくださると思います！

奈良芸術短期大学は、洋画、日本画、デザイン、陶芸、染織、クラフトデザインの6つのコースがあり、芸術を幅広く学んでおられます。
鈴木靴下の”歴史”と”モノづくり”に興味を持っていただきありがとうございました！

またいつでも遊びにいらしてください♪

Today, students from Nara College of Art, which has a cooperation agreement with Miyake-cho, visited our company.
They enjoyed a factory tour at our head office and watched the official Suzuki socks movie “Behind the Sock Making Process and Development Story” in the theater room on the 2nd floor of our main store.

We were delighted to receive many “sock rings,” the waste material that is inevitably produced during the sock-making process.
We are sure that the students of Nara University of Arts will come up with new ideas to create a new design!

Nara College of Art has six courses: Western painting, Japanese painting, design, ceramics, weaving and dyeing, and craft design.
Thank you very much for your interest in the history and craftsmanship of Suzuki Socks!

米作り－オリジナルパッケージ－

米ぬかと胚芽に分けられた精米の後、丁寧に検品された新米は鈴木靴下オリジナルの米袋に大切に注がれます。
精米したての新米はキラキラ光り、あたたかく、ぬくもりが感じられます🌾

奈良の田舎の広大な大地で育ち、想いのこもった秋の新米。
奈良のお米はなかなか外に出回らずとっても価値のあるお米です。

今年はショップOPENの年でもあり、ご愛顧いただいている皆様に感謝気持ちを込めてまして、本日より2000円以上ご購入の方に2合をプレゼントさせていただきます🎁

地元三宅町にて10/6に収穫をし、10/21に精米したできたてです✨
